The entire MMC team wishes you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with God’s blessings, grace, and mercy. The past two year’s events have tested even the strongest believer. It is at times like these that we need to reflect on God’s promises to: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Dt.31:6) We need to claim this promise daily because our culture is moving toward a fight between freedom of religion and those obsessed with promoting cultural changes that will shake the very core of our Christian heritage. Many are worried about what’s ahead for America. But we know where our hope comes from, and God’s Word assures us that He is our strength and comfort.

Inspiring men with God’s Word / Pastors equipped and encouraged with our resources

MMC’s recent 40-year Anniversary Celebrations in California and Idaho were like a magnifying glass bringing into focus how awesome God is and the great generosity and outpouring of love from friends like you. Listening to the testimonies from those who have experienced our friendship and support and God’s life changing power over our 40 years of ministry was so encouraging. The chart on our website here details the events and lives touched by our ministry during the past four decades. We think after you review this you too will say God has been so awesome and great to MMC (a.k.a. Let’s Go Fishing Ministries, Inc.)!

We take this opportunity to share with you two additional examples of how MMC, through its resource library, is changing lives and bringing the hope and peace that Christ offers into lives. You will recall last November we challenged our friends and supporters to utilize the vast MMC resources of books and booklets to encourage people around you. It’s disciples like you who make new disciples. These two stories are examples of God working through believers to build His kingdom.

Disciples Who Are Making Disciples

Baptized into new life

Tom lives in Tri Cities, WA. and has been a supporter of Men’s Ministry Catalyst ever since he attended a MMC Men’s Conference over ten years ago. Tom and his lovely wife have experienced our supportive prayers and used our resources to navigate through their own struggles with health issues and to help many lost relatives and friends. Tom writes, “My wife and I have tried hard to help our unsaved friend Wayne who lives in Henderson, NV with Bibles and other Christian literature, but he refused to open any of them. Last year you offered us extra copies of your new daily devotional Beside Still Waters. We sent one to Wayne. As a result of him daily reading the book and the power of prayer, he got saved. Today he is walking with Jesus as we endeavor to disciple him with more of your materials. Praise God!”

Jerome of California, East Bay Area, wrote to MMC: I want to thank Jim Grassi who, years ago, called me to help witness to about 150 men. At the event, I learned that 93% of men who know salvation of Jesus bring their family to Jesus as compared to 13% of women and 9% of children. My heart was smitten to share God’s Word with anyone who will listen. I enlisted Men’s Ministry Catalyst to help purchase and deliver the Tyndale Life Application Study Bible and some MMC resources along with a letter on how to make the God’s Word a daily commitment to many clients, neighbors, and pastors who are now studying and applying God’s Word to their lives.

Who do you know that needs to be inspired by a book or a pamphlet you could provide? We wish to partner with you to make that happen. Please check out our vast Resource Library and let us know what you need.

More Authentic Disciples Are Needed

The average church in America brings two new people to faith each year. This year alone God has used MMC to assist many pastors, churches, and others to bring scores of people to Jesus who would not otherwise know of His saving grace. We have personally baptized five people just this summer from the groups we have led. The harvest is ripe my friends. Share Jesus with others.

Men inspired by our conferences

We, like many in America, are worried about what’s ahead for our country. Thousands of men who need to be leading their families and churches are struggling with anger, fear, depression, faithfulness, pornography, loneliness, stress, finances, and many other issues. We encounter too many young men who are confused about biblical manhood and what it means to be a leader of their family. Many Christian men have lost their way and are not focused on holiness, honor, and integrity. Too many guys are not being mentored and discipled by others. Some men no longer want to attend church or consider spiritual matters because they feel faith is either irrelevant or not a manly characteristic. The Apostle Paul reminds us to “Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” (Ephesians 5:14) In Isaiah 51: 17 and 52:1 we see God’s prophet also telling the men of that day to wake up. We need to show men how to be leaders for Christ in their homes and churches and continue to encourage them along the way.

While the challenges are many, God is providing new opportunities for MMC to reach more men and churches than ever before. Our 2022 initiatives outline our plans for meeting these new opportunities.

MMC 2022 Financial Challenge – $150,000

After the California 40th Anniversary Program that previewed the MMC video, one of our faithful partners pledged $75,000 in a matching gift to help us reach our 2022 goal. Wow! His generosity warmed my heart! Imagine that your gift can be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $75,000.

Men finding God’s power through prayer and fellowship

Without your love, prayers, and financial support none of what has been accomplished these past 40 years would have been possible. We are especially grateful to our Monthly Faith-partners for their ongoing efforts to help us meet our monthly debts. Please pray and consider giving your best year-end gift to perpetuate the work MMC is doing. And if you have already sent in your year-end gift, we thank you for all your support and encouragement. Praise God for you and your family!

Again, Merry Christmas and rejoice in the Lord Always! Love and blessing to you.

P.S. “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” ~ Phil. 1:3-6

All authority has been given to Me (and you) in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. ~ Matt.28-18-20 (Emphasis added)
