Big Idea: True shepherds lead from the front to provide the pace for activity for those to whom God has given you.
Many men, who are pursuing success, do so at any cost. A shepherd, while pursuing success, do so with the sheep in mind. It provides grounding for why we are here and for what is the highest priority. We can become so focused on our success, we forget we too are shepherds with responsibility for our flock – family, friends, and those in our purview at work. True success is when we all arrive safely at our next destination.
What might be one area you pursue on your own, that may not be in the best interest of those whom you love? How can you modify this to become in their best interest as their shepherd?
