Big Idea: Make Passing On Your Faith a High Priority
A recent Pew study shared that only a minority of parents emphasize passing on their faith to their children. It seems other issues pushed passing on their faith to a much lower priority. While mental health, safety, and good grades are all important, these are all temporal and ultimately have no bearing on eternity. Can we as men commit to the importance of passing on our faith so it will become a high priority once again? Psalm 78 clearly outlines the role and the opportunity of being found faithful in this endeavor.
How do we do this? Focus on our faith and talk about it at your evening meal, on the way to school, while hanging out as a family, and certainly let them see worshipping together as an important aspect of your daily life.
