Tip of the Week

The purpose of the Tip of the Week is to provide weekly insight for Pastor’s and Men’s Leaders into the Biblical Design for Men, Issues Facing Men, and How to Build an Engaging Relationship with men that results in Authentic, Biblical manhood. We provide this insight because every man and every church deserves an environment for an engaging Ministry with Men.

Building a Ministry of Spiritual Mentoring: Leadership Teams

by | Aug 17, 2022

Big Idea: Building a culture of spiritual mentoring or intentional discipling, prioritizes building a team of leaders of men who are given the mantle of guiding the men who are in your local church.

You will want your leaders of men to be diverse in age, talent, background, culture, and of course, for leadership, they should fit the biblical qualifications.  (1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9) To reach all of the men in your church you need this diverse leadership team so they can set the culture for what is expected of the men of your church. Together you can reach other men in their sphere of influence, and your team will have ideas you as the leader would never come up with on your own. You can keep each other from becoming discouraged, knowing at times it can be hard to move men forward.  Leading men is best accomplished in the context of a team sport.
