Leadership Lessons from Philippians 1:21-22: Big Idea: Live life with the intent of making this journey with others a win-win situation.
It is a tremendous blessing when we are between two incredible options. As Paul wrote in Philippians, he would have loved to go to heaven to be with Christ whom he loved, however, to stay in this life meant bringing value to those around him and positioning them for long-term growth. What does it take to find ourselves in a win-win situation? How do you come to conclusions about what you need to do? In this case, while Paul did have a 1st choice that did not come into play at that time, he committed himself to fulfill the next option and did not complain because it was not quite what he wanted most.
Today – Do you know your options? Is it a win-win? If not how do you position the situation so that it is a no-lose situation? If you take the second option, can you throw yourself into it as though it were your first choice?
