Leadership Lessons from Philippians 1:27: Big Idea: Live life with integrity, even though no one is looking.

Integrity is defined as the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles:  moral uprightness.   Integrity is earned by what we do when no one is looking, not what we do in public.  It is the alone time when we struggle with what is right and prudent.  In some cases, no one but you and God will ever know how you managed that quiet time of struggle and discipline required to truly live of life of integrity.

Today – You have heard the saying:  Be the person your dog thinks you are. Not sure it fits completely, however, if we are in private and we strive to be in public, then we are on the way.  If there are consistent things that trip you up, then find someone who can help you – Today.  These things could be secret sins, lack of discipline in giving your best to every task every day, being honest about the time you have put into the task, and telling the truth even if it might make you look bad.  In the end, once you have cleared the hurdle and become a person of integrity, your confidence and accomplishment will grow exponentially.
