4 Pillars of Ministry to Men: Big Idea: Fellowship

It has been said, “When a man shuns relationships – the devil smiles.”

What is true fellowship? The first mention of the word is found in Leviticus 6:2. It comes from the Hebrew term tesumeth yad, which also means “deposit.” The Greek term koinonia means “communion”.  Most men think of fellowship as hanging out, gathering together with common interests. That is a good start, however, as we see in Ecclesiastes 4:12, which  states, “a cord of three strands is not easily broken.” When men are investing in each other with deposits and communion, they will not easily be broken.

Today: Create an environment and culture where your men may have some potential conflict. The depth of male relationships is directly correlated to how much conflict they are willing to work through.
