Big Idea: Don’t let frustration determine your path forward.
One of the toughest barriers to overcome is frustration. Here we are with nearly 25% of the year behind us and we are encountering some significant headwinds. Our projects at work are more challenging than expected, our family life did not change as we had hoped. “I am not losing weight as planned, and cannot consistently exercise given a heavy schedule.” The result: Frustration is setting in. Recognize that frustration is a normal obstacle in the effort to move forward. Inertia is always against you when you push into new territory. Someone once said:
I’ve come to believe that all my past failure and frustration were laying the foundation for the understanding that have created the new level of living I now enjoy.
Today – be encouraged to push through – change the narrative – ask God for wisdom as you wrestle with frustration today.
