SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES: Big Idea: God’s People will help you grow in your relationship with God and provide additional fulfillment on the journey.   

 Someone has said that you become like the five closest people you allow in the inner circle of your life.  If I want to become closer to God, more of a Godly man, and enjoy the relationship with like-minded people, it would be wise to carefully choose those “five” who are closest to you.  It is important to find common values as a Christ follower, people with whom I have things in common, people I can learn from and who can learn from me, and people who are as committed as I am to becoming the authentic, godly man that I was created to become.

Choosing carefully to know these people around me, help create the person I am becoming.  Be selective in this inner circle – beyond that love all of God’s creation.
