Being Thankful: Big Idea: Gratitude opens the door to more relationships. It is amazing how saying “thank you” to people makes them more likely to want a relationship with you — or to strengthen an existing relationship with you.
Today: Ask yourself, how grateful do others perceive me to be? Do the words thank you roll off of your tongue easily, or do you have to think about it before you say it? Today, intentionally plan to be thankful by saying thank you to everyone who does any little thing for you. You will be amazed at how responsive people are when you say those magic words.
Part of our mission in life is to lift others up. You never know what others are going through, or what their experiences are like for that day. You may be the only one who sees them today – and it can change their trajectory for the day or longer.
Being thankful begins by practicing your thankfulness to others around you.
