Sometimes when the Holy Spirit nudges us to talk to someone, give a gift, or help, we doubt; next time He nudges, don’t hesitate—act!

What is a fisherman? Most people would describe him as a committed person who pursues his sport with dedication and zeal. For some it’s competition, for others it’s relaxation, many use it as a sport to bring together family and friends, and for sure, it is a wonderful way to appreciate God’s great outdoors.
It is hard to call yourself a fisherman if you are not fishing. In a similar sense, it is hard to call yourself a disciple if you are not fishing for men. When Jesus said, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men,” to a group of common fisherman, He ignited a passion for evangelism that still burns in the hearts and minds of His disciples today.
All she had was a flat tire, but for her, that was monumental. She popped the trunk and Bryan got the jack and spare. Then, he got down on his knees in the wet gravel feeling for where to place the jack. He skinned his knuckles a time or two.

Physical adultery does not originate in a vacuum; it begins with spiritual adultery in the heart. The hearts of the 10 northern tribes were unfaithful and corrupt. They had lost their way in their spiritual journey and obedience to God. The covenant God had formed with Israel on Mount Sinai in Exodus 24 and renewed in Joshua 8 was like that of a cherishing husband.

Encourage those you see living for Jesus. But mostly let those without Jesus see Him living in you and me. Let us love and serve those we meet no matter what their circumstances. May we be more like Jesus.
Jesus didn’t tell us to go make a church; He told us to go make disciples. We should not be focused upon building big churches, but should focus our efforts upon building spiritually deep disciples.
Many people love to re-purpose things, because “you never know when you might need it.” This can be said about people with a new purpose in their lives, as they are taught and trained by our Lord.
