Men’s Ministry Catalyst Names Tim Tyler Associate Director
Men’s Ministry Catalyst (MMC) one of the most experienced men’s ministries in the world announced today that Pastor Tim Tyler has joined the ministry team as Associate Director of Ministry Operations. This appointment underscores the ministry’s commitment to assisting churches across the nation who are serious about developing vibrant and dynamic ministries to men.
“We spent a year doing a nation-wide search for this position. We were very pleased to find Tim and have him join our team.” said Dr. James Grassi, Founder and President MMC which was formed in 1981. Dr. Grassi notes that Pastor Tyler is well qualified for both management of ministry operations as well as assisting churches who can benefit from MMC services and resources.
For over 30 years, Tim Tyler has worked with men and their families in a variety of settings. His experience ranges from face-to-face services, to program design and regional ministry management. He has developed and facilitated training in both classroom and on-site venues. Church team building and conflict resolution will be part of his responsibilities.
“I am excited to be joining Men’s Ministry Catalyst; I think God is blessing this ministry,” says Tyler. “Dr. Grassi’s approach is practical, and uniquely tailored to each church. I look forward to seeing men in the church grow in their faith and encouraging them to become great role models to those who do not know Jesus.”
Prior to joining MMC, Tyler served with Nancy Missler’s ministry, The King’s High Way, for eight years. He spent three years after that with her husband’s (Dr. Chuck Missler) ministry, Koinonia House. Much of Tim’s professional work has been in social services with the State of Washington. That included work at juvenile institutions, Child Protective Services, Family Reconciliation Services, and licensing out-of-home care. He was in supervisory and mid-management level roles for all but three years of the time he worked for the state.
Tyler has over 13 years of pastoral experience in two elder-led churches. He also had a short stint of missionary work in Russia in 1993.
About Men’s Ministry Catalyst: MMC is entering its thirty-sixth year of serving. MMC has partnered with church leaders, businessmen, professional athletes, and denominations in discovering and implementing a relational discipleship process (Spiritual Mentoring). We help mold and equip influential leaders who model biblical principles of authentic discipleship. Families become stronger, church membership increases, and men feel more fulfilled when they gain a greater understanding of their role as it relates to fulfilling the Great Commission.
