Praying hands

Dear Prayer Partner,

Thank you for your willingness to be a Prayer Partner. As I assume the leadership of Men’s Ministry Catalyst (MMC) I am very aware of the importance of prayer. Jesus modeled the importance of a strong prayer life. He taught His disciples how to pray and commanded them to pray. Each day Deb and I thank God for each of you because your prayers are essential to the success of this ministry.

What is the purpose of MMC?

At MMC we are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission to go and make disciples. We do this by equipping churches and denominations with biblically based resources, counsel, and services to help them build an engaging ministry to men. This ministry will help the local church raise up authentic disciples of Christ who passionately pursue God and will then go and make disciples. Their godly lives will have a positive impact — not only in the church, but in their homes, workplaces, and communities.

Why is MMC’s purpose so important?

In discussing the plight of men, psychologist Alexander Mitserlisch stated, “Society has torn the soul of a male, and into the tear the demons have fled — the demons of insecurity, selfishness and despair. Consequently, many men do not know who they are as men.” We see this evidenced by the deterioration of society, the family being torn apart and redefined by society, and the church needing support from our men to reach their families and community for Jesus Christ.

What to pray for:

  1. God to open doors as we make calls to connect with pastors, churches our networks and additional networks to which we are referred.
  2. The spiritual battles going on in our land today. Satan’s goal is to see the continued spiritual decline of men, continued decline of the family, the removal of men from families and church.
  3. A smooth transition of MMC leadership from our Founder and President Dr. Jim Grassi to myself.
  4. MMC’s success in fulfilling The Great Commission. There is no better witness than a changed life that is living out a Christ-like lifestyle.
  5. The continued financial support of our donors, and the addition of new donors.

Our gift for you – Everyone on the call will receive a free autographed copy of Jim’s newest book:  Finishing Well, Finishing Strong. The book explores what spiritual manhood looks like and how men can discover the joy of living an abundant life. Persevering through pressure and stress to find God’s peace allows men not to quit when the going gets tough. Dr. Grassi helps men discover the difference between having worldly success and developing spiritual significance.
