We have had an exciting kick-off to the new year! In large part to God’s continued leading and your thoughtful prayers for Men’s Ministry Catalyst. We have been navigating the final transition aspects in partnership with the Relational Discipleship Network. In addition, we successfully kicked off another Men’s Leadership Cohort and connected pastors and leaders with MMC at a recent DiscipleShift conference in January!
Where are we today, and where do we need your prayers?
- Successful transition of MMC to RDN – As of the 1st of the year, MMC is officially a ministry of the RDN. Praise the Lord for the opportunities before us! Pray for God to continue blessing this partnership in this new year. Pray for expanded opportunities throughout the RDN to share and grow MMC as they endeavor to equip, empower, and counsel churches in ministry to men around the world.
- How is RDN promoting MMC throughout the Network? Eddie continues to travel to several markets around the country where RDN has a presence and shares MMC’s vision to equip the local church in reaching and discipling men. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive! Several upcoming conferences are coming up that will provide new arenas for MMC as well. Pray for more churches to be impacted by our message. Pray for churches to take the next step in starting or growing their ministry to men.
- MMC’s commitment to continue funding this ministry. Pray that our Faith Partners continue to embrace the vision of MMC and experience the excitement for the future of how God will continue to utilize this ministry.
- Pray for Jim and Louise. They are in Yuma serving as is customary this time of year. Pray for continued opportunities for Jim to preach the Word of God and to inspire men to be who they are called to be. Pray for Jim as he continues his work with the Fire Dept Chaplaincy program.
- Pray as we engage Pastors and Leaders through the Local Church through:
- Small Group Study Guides – We are about to launch 3 more small group study guides, in addition to the three we already have. These will be launched in Q1/Q2 2026 over the course of the year. Pray for the content to meet the needs of men from around the globe. Pray for more opportunities to create additional content that will help equip and develop men as husbands, fathers, and grandfathers.
- Cohort Experience – Our first Cohort of 2026 has kicked off! We have 16 pastors and leaders dedicated to the six-month journey. These men are called of God to make a difference in their local church. We have men representing churches of all sizes who are excited to create a disciple-making culture. As a Praise… Currently, we are at 60 men total and counting who have completed the Cohort Experience! Praise God! Pray for this group of leaders walking with us through June. Pray for the next group of leaders that will be joining additional Cohorts offered throughout this year and in future years.
- Men’s Leadership Workshop – MMC has been leading one-day workshops for several years. We have a new opportunity to expand our offering by adding the One-Day Workshop to the seven DiscipleShift Conferences offered across the country through the RDN. Pray that churches will commit to making ministry to men a high priority and either host or send their leaders to these one-day, important workshops. Pray for our new host churches that will be hosting trainings for 2026.
- Regular Ministry Communications Continue – We are continuing to deliver Tuesday Devotionals, the Wednesday Tip of the Week, and the twice-monthly Podcast dealing with issues and opportunities men face. Pray for those who read it to be encouraged and inspired.
- Podcast Update – Pray for our relaunch efforts that will now take us to Spotify and Apple in March/April. Pray for Wendell and Eddie as they navigate topics relevant to men and today’s culture.
