Dear Prayer Partners,
It is so good to know that you are praying for this ministry. There are so many dimensions to MMC that help make it have such an impact. As we faithfully reach out to pastors, leaders of men, and men, the main piece that opens the doors of Heaven is the Holy Spirit’s presence working through your prayers.
We are already just a few short weeks away from the greatest event that ever happened in the life of the Christian Church – the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The saving grace of our Lord Jesus’s life allows us to boldly extend our faith and beliefs to those we serve. Let’s get ready to celebrate – Let’s take as many with us as we can to join in the celebration.
As we continue to see God’s handprint in our ministry, we can only say Praise the Lord.
Prayer Requests
- MMC Year End Faith Partner Outreach – We had some big dreams while acting in faith believing His divine servants would help address our financial needs to continue the legacy of this ministry. God and our faith partners were amazing in how our needs are continuing to be addressed.
- Ministry Partnership – As we started reporting last summer MMC has been exploring the ability to create an MMC legacy that will continue to live on. The process continues to move forward in blessed ways. These are ways we could not have created on our own. The Relational Discipleship Network (rdn.org) is our new partner in ministry and will eventually absorb MMC. Please take a moment to look them up and see how God will be using us together (https://rdn.org). For years the vision and personnel associated with our ministries have been crossing paths and sharing vision. God is opening the doors of necessary funding and now He appears to be providing the man we need to be able to take the ministry forward into the future.
Pray for God’s continued favor, blessing, and clarity as we move forward. Pray that God will use this journey to Bless YOU and encourage YOU as you have witnessed God’s leading in what is not possible to create by human planning and ingenuity. What are you facing in your life where you need such a demonstration of God’s faithfulness? Be encouraged. - Ministry Activity:
- January – Jim facilitated a Chaplain Training Program in Yuma, AZ. to energize the pastors in the area to support the Police and Fire Services with certified spiritual leaders. What a great way to enlarge the spiritual covering of an area by having the clergy in the marketplace supporting those who care for the community in a self-sacrificing manner.
- Jim –spoke at an Outdoor Adventure Program in Boise and was able to share his faith with others.
- Jim – spoke at the Sunday Service to about 150 people at the church service in the park where they stay in Yuma.
- Jim- will provide five messages at a Men’s Retreat at Mt. Hermon Christian Conference Center in the Santa Cruz Mountains and work with his twin sons who will be doing the music.
- Wendell – conducted a Men’s Leadership Workshop with multiple churches in Rochester, NY as a follow-up to an Iron Sharpens Iron Conference last fall.
- Wendell – will be speaking at an Iron Sharpens Iron in early March – to be followed by a Men’s Leadership Workshop in late April for pastors and leaders of men to take what they and their men experienced at the ISI and build a plan to impact all of the men of their church, their families, marketplace, and communities.
- Cohort Experience – Starting on January 28th and going through June Wendell will be leading and training 15 men who are committed to reading, studying, and preparing to fulfill the calling that God has given them for the men in their local church and community. I am excited to report that God is faithful, and these men are seeing transformation in their lives and ministries. For more information: https://mensministrycatalyst.org/cohort-program/
Pray That God would bring a passion and a spirit of revival to the men of the local churches from Coast to Coast who are participating in this experience. These men were recruited by men who had been through previous experiences and found them to be beneficial.
Our faithfulness matters every year. I do believe that this is a critical year that contains the hinges of our future. These God-given hinges are about to open a door we could not open on our own. Stay with us – See What our Good God is about to do in 2025 and beyond.
