Dear Prayer Partners,
It is exciting for me to communicate with a group of wonderful people who are the foundation of this ministry. Without petitioning Almighty God, aligning to His guidance, and thanking Him for His moving through MMC, it is only our human effort – which has no eternal value.
At MMC we trust your summer is going well. Growing up on a small farm, I know that the summer is when so much of the harvest occurs. In addition, there are crops where the harvest depends on the summer heat, water, and nutrients to be able to produce their harvest in the fall. For me, my harvest is dependent on God’s blessing, and the loving and accountable support of those I have invited to be close to me. How about you? Do you take the daily time to stay connected to the Father? Do you have people around you who refuse to let you do anything but your best for the Father? As I said in June’s Prayer letter we are not designed to be alone – but to live in community. I pray you take the time to stay connected with family and chosen friends who nurture and encourage you in your walk with God.

Men’s Leadership Workshop – On September 14, MMC will be conducting our next Leadership Workshop. This time in Buffalo. This is a follow-up we committed to providing following a regional men’s conference in the area. Pray that Pastors and Men’s leaders will join us as we guide them in developing an engaging, and long-term ministry with the men of their local churches.
Pray for Pastors and men to register for this conference. Pray also for a clear vision and a passion for guiding their men in their growing relationship with God, impact on their family, where they work, and of course, grow their church.
- Cohort Experience – A Cohort Experience is a group of like-minded men (in our case) who are passionate about making a Godly impact in the lives of those closest to them. We completed one group of more than 10 men in June and started another group of 17 men in July. It is thrilling to see men passionate about making a difference in their world. Pray that God will significantly impact the lives of these men who are committed to personal growth and to be used by God to impact their family and the men of their church and beyond.

Ministry Partnership – We continue to pursue the next and best version of MMC. We know we can only do so much on our own to fulfill the destiny God has for us now and in the future. We are committed to partnering with an organization that is like-minded, working with local churches around the country, and believes that men are vital for long-term growth and impact on this generation and future generations.
Pray that God will make himself known, so there is no mystery, and no confusion, and that both this potential partner and the leadership of MMC will have complete clarity on the outcome God desires for both of us.
