Money is a wonderful thing if we don’t have the pursuit of wealth as our primary focus.  Someone once said that more people can be trusted with poverty than those who can handle great wealth.

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. – Matthew 6:24

Practically speaking, money has no power. Money is an inanimate object that is neither good nor evil. But our affections towards money determines its hold and power over us. Because of this, God often uses the “money test” to define where our hearts are with respect to Him and money.

This booklet will give you some perspectives from God’s word on how to handle the wealth God has given you and where some of the pitfalls lie in handling your pocketbook. To order your copy click here, and you can check out the other helpful topics in this booklet series.
