Disciples are change agents willing to model Christ in every aspect of their lives. In order to do this, they need ministry leaders who are being transformed into spiritual mentors.
When life deals us a lousy hand, and important relationships seem without hope, we need to reflect upon some of God’s promises and encouragement. As mentors, we have a host of fulfilled promises and events from God’s Word what can help encourage someone needing help.
Ask the Lord if there is someone who needs your hand to pull him on board. It might take some sacrifice, but there’s a life at stake.
Jesus didn’t tell us to go make a church; He told us to go make disciples. We should not be focused upon building big churches, but should focus our efforts upon building spiritually deep disciples.
Rather than looking at the church as a place where we escape the sin of the world, we need to use it to reach those who are in the world.
No man should have to walk through trials and tribulations alone. Without God in our lives and a good companion to walk with us, life is darn scary.
